The democratic convention is currently being held in the U.S. The democrats are toting the two-state solution for Israel and this is what I gather;
The Sinai Peninsula was created during the Camp David Treaty of 1977. Signed by Menachim Begin, Anwar Sadaat, and Jimmy Carter; Israel, Egypt and the U.S signed the Treaty to ensure there would be no war again between Egypt and Israel. The U.S.A should use some clout in this affair as the Chammas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad have reached some sensitive ports (say in Yemen among other possible threats in the future). To ensure the escalation and tensions go down it would be wise of Netanyahu and Israeli leaders to support housing as many of the Palestinian population as they can in the Sinai, where Egypt can look in to as whether things are being run legit. There should also be some Worldwide volunteer program to ensure goodwill in the Sinai towards Israeli Jews, Israeli Arabs, Egyptians, and Palestinians, and to encourage multiculturalism within that region to support a Palestinians existence in that part of the World. The Israeli Jews and Israeli Arabs chosen for this role would be imperative to ensure our existence on this land mass of the Sinai. Likewise that of the Bedouin that are chosen to represent this designated area of the Sinai. If the Israeli's play their cards right, Palestinians in Gaza get expelled to the Sinai and have to live under Hebrew AND Egyptian Law.
The mess that was created by Chammas attacks on Simcha Torah will have to be met with Palestinians expelled from Israel. The logic is very simple. The bloodline of the Palestinian people is more relative to Egypt than to Israel. With Egypt being in the equation of this peace process we will see more scrutiny into the mis-education that the Palestinians have been proactive in producing. In other words they are adept at screening for warning signs that they've endured through in their past in mis-education. This will help curb the mis-education that has been haunting us and bring some multiculturalism where at the very least people of different denominations can have some reference of peace and be used for future melting pots.
What I believe to be achievable are 500 Camps (Kibbutziim) housing 700 people at each Camp. 150 Isaeli Arabs, 150 Israeli Jews, 150 Palestinians.150 Egyptians, and 100 worldwide volunteers (U.N approved placements say 20% American, 20% Greek, 20% Italian, 20% Camaroon, 10% French, and 10% Bedouin). This is 350,000 being placed in the Sinai to support a mission of multiculturalism for the Middle East. Of course the security would be high in the beginning but in a short time we'll see peace as anyone who ever lived on a Kibbutz for 6 months (which I have) understands that conflict rarely occurs in a small environment like a Kibbutz. In fact if you try and bully on a Kibbutz the penalty is high. The members of each Camp have a roof over their head, 7 hours a day work (5 days a week), all the food is supplied, with an allowance of $10,000 U.S.D/Year payable on the last day of the yearly contract. Likewise, an allowance for overtime that could lead to greater financial prosperity or converted into vacation time instead of the money. For the Jewish population at these camps they could have Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday as their weekend. For the Muslim population at these camps they could have Thursday and Friday, or Friday and Saturday as their weekend. For the Christian population at these camps they could have Saturday and Sunday as their weekend.
Israel restructured their courts a few years back (before the Simcha Torah attacks) to ensure the Israeli population was protected by ISRAELI LAW in the exact instance we saw with Chammas. By allowing our neighbor Egypt into the equation we'll actually be in a higher learning mode in the Sinai (more accurate anyway). The fact is that this could be used to formulate future havens similar to what the East has seen with Kashmir and Jaarta and perhaps find more common ground along the way for our future descendants to establish a reference point for peace. This is the Two State solution that I bring forward to the viewer.
