Six Nations and Aboriginal Issues - by Moses (a.k.a Stacey Marc Goldman)

1.   Land that is claimed as ‘owned’ territory contradicts a Native belief that the land was here long before us and will be here long after us.

2.   Compromises are being made to support trading partners and these treaties are starting to lose their value.  Alcohol is deforming cohesiveness among the people.  Sainthood is commonly expressed
as martyrdom, commonly referred to (in the Arabic World) as suicide bombers – dying for a specific cause.  This is not adhered to by any Aboriginal (Monothaic) practice.  The sainthood answers to Conquestadors – a premise still practiced in most Catholic States.
          
3.   There is a lack of Aboriginals in the higher ups in the workforce.
Eg. Head Coach’s in Professional sports.  Ted Nolan and Joe Paopao are the only Six- Nations Head Coach’s in Professional sports.  Two is not enough.  This is an indicator of how the North American business world is operating today. Why aren’t half the schools across Canada teaching Native curriculum?  These Rights should not be extra, nor preclusive, rather equal.

4.   Equal rights.

5.   Equal Pension, C.P.P, Disability, and Health Benefits.

6.   Food Banks versus Ghetto’s.  The argument here is simple.  Should a man be starving and have $0, is he entitled to a grocery store apple?  For an apple to be withheld, a mans’ Right to Life has been sacrificed.  This is why there are food banks.  Likewise a constitution.  The Right to Life super-cedes the embarrassment of being caught stealing.

7.   Killing.  In a time of war, reasonable force is often sacrificed.  In ancient times a scalping was often used in place of killing to preserve the sanctuary of battle.  In other words, I’ll scalp you if you’re a danger to me.  In actual fact this is a deterrent to war as no-one wants to be scalped.  This breeds peace treaties.

8.   Gross acts on the environment.
How does the Canadian Government justify oil and gas vehicles?

9.   Customs that are not adhered to by neighboring cultures.
In other words a person should be respected and not feel threatened.

                                World War 11

      Hitler’s Nazi Party, the Japanese, and Italy (under Mussolini’s rule) converged with the intention of taking over the World.  They butchered Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and certain sects of Catholics in a Document called the Third Reich.  It was in their order to exterminate Jews, as Hitler professed that it was the result of the Jews that the Great Depression of 1931 occurred.  Hitler harnessed enough support in Europe and in some parts of Asia (in the Far East) promoting Anti-Semitism.  Any person that Hitler deemed to be not 'Arian' was gathered and sent to Concentration Camps.  Adolph Hitler established Concentration Camps in Auschwitz Poland, Krakow Poland and Dacha Germany, among other sites as early as 1935.  In Concentration Camps every person was tattooed with a number on their arm.  Children were regularly sent to Nazi Doctors (Joseph Mengele being the Head Butcher) and many had their eyeballs taken out without anesthetic and had their eyeballs injected with blue dye.  This faction of medicine was deemed sanitary by Joseph Mengele through the argument that the Jew children needed to be taught to 'see things properly'.  In Krakow Poland my Cousin Henry Kay said ‘I would give some of my food ration to the wealthy children that were crying so that they didn’t get taken in for slaughter.’  The Aramaic (root Hebrew) word for Henry’s action is Dyainu – It would have been sufficient.
  Japan took strike on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in 1937 and this signified WW11 to America.  Italy followed suit and Hitler’s Nazi regime reached dangerous levels catching Britain’s Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill’s attention.  It was at that time in 1939 when Churchill gave his famous speech saying ‘There is nothing to fear but fear itself’.  The sentiment being England would fight against the Nazi Regime until the End.   
  During the War all Japanese Canadians were imprisoned under Martial Law.
  Throughout the War Raul Wallenberg, a Swedish boats-man, brought refugees that had escaped from Nazi Germany and surrounding Nazi Territory (Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Austria among others) to safety in North America.  Many boats were sent back. 
  In the winter of 1940, Hitler attacked Russia and butchered 20 Million Russians but couldn’t grab a stranglehold of that region.  In early 1941 The U.S and Great Britain fought hard in Normandy, France and finally the tide started to turn against the Nazi Regime.  It was in 1943 when the Nazi Party was defeated through Treaty, and the War was officially over in early 1945.

Coping With Tragedy - by Moses

      From October - January 1st most count our blessings' as to what we have.  Unfortunately many people feel misery as to what they have.  These people often feel to get even with society.  During this time of year, we see the highest murder and suicide rates.  We have seen time and time again of tragedy's;  Sandy Hook, Columbine, Waco, Virginia Tech to name a few.

      What is missing is the common denominator of these events.  Misery turning into action by a single person.  How many times have we heard rustlings within a family, or of friends' that the person had issues.  

  Roughly one quarter of the North American Population has a Mental Health issue severe enough to be treated by pharmaceuticals.  Should one quarter of a mega-city like Toronto, Ontario, Canada have Mental Health issues, that results in roughly 1 million people being treated by pharmaceuticals.  Should 5% of those 1 million people be left untreated or misaligned what happens to those 50,000 people that haven't been given a clean bill of health by their Doctor?

  In our parents time you could get a job with a High School Diploma.  In our time, we see University, College, or Technical School as a necessity.  The dispair that is there, of those deemed societal failures comes back to haunt us all.  Does anyone notice the figures Mental Health issues that are fact; to be formed in the land of Canada a person is deemed 'a danger to oneself, and/or to others'.   

  In the U.S.A they still employ the 2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms.  A constitutional right established to fight the colonization of America.  Battles that were fought in 1776 are being thrown in America's face.  In Israel, roughly 80% of their population have an M-16 in their possession.  In the U.S.A roughly 30% of their population carry unannounced firearms, likewise.  Video games are now available to our children with mixed messages towards violence.  While instilling many Military Video Games, most promote killing.  The killing is always against the 'bad guys'.  Unfortunately, our children are so desensitized towards a killing spree like Sandy Hook, Connecticut that the horror is obscured.  Who are the 'Bad Guys'?  Who determines who the 'bad guys' are?  Are these people deemed to be 'a danger to oneself or to others' on the thought, or the action?

  What are we projecting to our youth?  Frankly I'd rather play a game of Baseball or Soccer, or the Video game Soccer or Baseball, before playing a video game that teaches me to shoot, kill, feel good about these scenes that violent video games promote.  Who's to say when the next Sandy Hook, Connecticut will occur?

The question as to how is this feasible becomes a question of want. We're fighting for our livelihood in streets across North America. The media broadcasts UFC matches practically every hour on the hour. In the NHL off-season this past year three former enforcers, namely Wade Belak, Derek Bougaarde, and Rick Rypien all committed suicide. The age of instant gratification has taken away the craftmanship of work formerly associated with the Canadian and American labour force. What's going to happen to North American' retirement funds if our Dollar becomes de-valued to 2 cents on the dollar? $2 Million in RRSPS becomes worth $40,000. In a global economy this could in fact happen. What North America needs to realize is that paying off the National Debt brings us an air of hope. We will be able to sustain an economy with our heads above the water, not below.
The Canadian National Debt was starting to be paid off in 2001, here's a detailed account of our National debt over the past 50 years;

As we can see, we're back to having a yearly deficit in the Billions. To pay off the National Debt brings us back to reality, which we so sorely need.
Many people have asked what the occupy movement stands for, and it stands to reason that 'occupying' ties in to the equation. So let's make a deal Canada.

100 New Government Towns with 600 people in each new town. Tell us what you want us to produce. We'll divy up the 600 people so that there are 200 1st Nations' People, 200 Caucasian People, and 200 African Canadian/American People. Let each new town (or Kibbutz) be regardless of faith or religion. The total amount of people in this context is 60,000. Let's do this in every Province and Territory. In fact, let's do this across America too. This would mean that there would be 720,000 across Canada, and 3,000,000 across America now gainfully employed with housing. We'll harvest Olive Oil, Canola Oil, Canadian Maple Syrup, Chocolate Milk, a new Cola Product, Health Food Products...

At this point we can start doing business with the Bank of Canada, instead of corrupt private Banks.

The Occupy Movement Part 3 (the Dangers of Bureaucracy) - by Moses

In the John Grishom novel 'The Rainmaker' we saw what happens when there is corruption within the legal system, pertaining to insurance claims. A claim is sent in to the insurance company by the policy holder and the claim is automatically sent from claims to the Policy Department. When the insurance company contacts the policy holder he/she learns that their claim has now been sent to the Claims Department.  At this point, the policy holder is confused.  The pattern of contact to the company frustrates the policy holder to the point of giving up the claim to the insurance company, until eventually the policy holder gives up in trying to receive his/her claim.
These dangers of bureaucracy, or lock jam, has been intertwined into Politics. We see Liberals fight against the Conservatives in Canada, the Democrats fight against the Republicans in the U.S.A, Secular perspective fighting against Orthodox perspective...
As these paradigm viewpoints enter the fray, we see the example of claims and policies enter into Bureaucratic decision making. Essentially, this vetos' any administrative initiatives of most Democratic Nations. While Facism is not an option, at some level a decision has to be made.
While the Occupy Movement has quieted in the Canadian news over the past week, the worldwide numbers of those supporting the Global Occupy Movement has gone up, and is continuing to do so. In Sudbury, Ontario, Canada there are roughly 550 people on the Facebook page. The local movement is being pro-active in its' approach. The local movement is netwoking information that has been gathered with other cities around the World. This may seem to be a minor detail, but keep in mind that the internet didn't exist 25 years ago. Eventually this writer sees' the involvement of the United Nations with respect to the Occupy Movement. A person in Canada, in the U.S.A, in Portugal, in Egypt, will at some level be assured of basic human rights that are protected by Amnesty International and the U.N. Do we really need FEMA camps that deny people of their basic human rights in place, as opposed to protecting the existing Global Constitution that is in place today? and, why can't we house the homeless, without stripping someone of their basic human rights?

Kibbutziim and the Occupy Movement (Part 2) - by Moses

A Kibbutz in Israel is, by nature, a commune. This form of government township was instituted in 1942 to develop a network for Jewish people in the Land of Israel (Palestine at the time) to communicate with people in the surrounding Seven Seas (including Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Ethiopia, Greece, and Egypt. There are rates of exchange through socialist economics. For example, food is free, housing is provided, and work is plentiful. The amount the Kibbutz earns' translates into a profit for the group as a whole. There is greater sensitivity towards specialized industry. For example;

1 Kibbutz does baked goods
1 Kibbutz does chocolate milk
1 Kibbutz does peaches and pears

Work is provided for everyone based on their skills. Extra hours at work translates into added vacation time. Tourism is amplified as someone from Denmark or Ethiopia is essentially a representative of another economic system and learns, as well as teaches, their ways of life when their on the Kibbutz. There is a change of work periodically for 'Kibbutzniks' (members of the Kibbutz). For example someone working in the agricultural sector of the Kibbutz will be moved to laundry duty for one month of the year, and/or dish-washing duties for one month a year likewise.

Economic growth translates into Kibbutz expansion (added 'Kibbutziim' within Israel and greater wealth for the Kibbutz itself). As 'Kibbutziim' grow in number, the Nations' population steadily increase. This is beneficial to people in barren land as the agriculture of each Kibbutz is tied into a fresh water supply that wasn't there previously. As many cities are congested in their population size, there is an advantage in having a more detailed infrastructure in barren and unpopulated rural regions. As 'Kibbutziim' (or Camps) grow in number, fresh water becomes accessible to more people in areas that didn't have fresh water previously.

Each member of the Kibbutz receives an equal financial arrangement. For example, each member of the Kibbutz is paid a nominal $15,000 CDN/Year. The net profit of the Kibbutz (after labour costs) is invested back into the Kibbutz. The net profit results in expansion within the Kibbutz, and beyond.

Though the Good Samaritan Act, the Occupy Movement has incorporated many socialist Kibbutz ideals. Ridding the World of Debt, and making sure we don't have Homeless people in our communities, runs in part with having housing and employment.

Each Canadian in the Workforce (or each citizen of Canada) earning a minimum $75,000/year would mean this; A greater amount of spending within the private sector (as it's easier to spend $75,000 than for a Billionaire to spend his Hundreds of Millions). The only people that are affected by previously proposed changes would be the top 1% income earners. For example, to raise $1Billion CDN through taxing those earning $40,000/year@10% would result in 250,000 people being taxed. Those earning $1Billion CDN/year taxed@10% would mean that 10 people would be taxed.

Why be sensitive to the wants of a multi-Billionaire?

Does anyone really care if Billionaire Coffers lose 10% of their Empires?

As we see today, around 1.3 million people are following these transpiring events with the number almost surely to grow.

Occupy Sudbury and Beyond (the occupy movement)- by Moses

Occupy ________. A novel idea, whether it's occupying Toronto, New York, Sudbury, Vancouver, , or Atlanta. Considering that roughly 60% of all Canadians amass 1.7% of Canada's total income. So what are we talking about here? Change? Is it achievable? Will public parks be public forums as they were during Woodstock?
A few years ago in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada we lost roughly 5,000 jobs @ $75,000 in the auto plants. The average household income was roughly $90,000/year. Today with these jobs gone we see the average household income in Oshawa below $40,000/year. How does a politician address his/her constituents within this Flint, Michigin type economic failure?
Last year, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista signed a multi-year contract for a fraction of what he could have earned playing for the New York Yankees or the Boston Red Sox. But let's be real. How many people would accept earning less than they think they're worth? Union talk states; You're worth what you get. In the case of Oshawa, Ontario, were the Union workers misguided in their strategy? Let's not place blame.
A billionaire that donates $1 million to charity once a year writes it off his/her taxes. Did anyone notice that taxes of the ultra-rich decreased, giving them more buying power, and those earning less than $15,000 lost 3% of their total income not just 3 months ago?
Instead of band-aid remedy, the Canadian economy (and the U.S for that matter) had better taker a look at our adolescence and how they perceive economic developments. They see the hypicrit oath and are being forced to choose between doing what they think is right, and choosing to undermine their values in selling out to work at a fraction what they think they're worth. Would you take a $10/hour, $12,000/year job because you had to? that's exactly what we're seeing in Oshawa, Ontario today. When will it be that a poet just writes.
In Sudbury, Ontario today we see roughly 500 homeless within a population of 155,000. These are the registered homeless, take another look and we see a vagabond population of over 1000. As Occupy Sudbury takes shape we see many more people pro-active towards these issues. Will this lead to more parks occupied over the course of the movement, that remains to be unseen.
The National Debt of Canada causes the taxpayer to pay off some of the annual interest of the National Debt. Ironically, the Federal Government has to take on loans from Foreign Banks to pay off the difference in interest on money originally lent to 3rd and 5th World Nations. This is essentially killing off any chance of there being a strong Pension Fund for Canadians to draw from both in the here and now, and in the future. It is also a concern among roughly 60% of all adults within Canada of how they will pay off their own debts; credit cards, mortgages, car payments, insurance payments, telecommunication services...
In many Scandanavian nations, the population earns a healthy minimum salary, scaled to the elite status for the fortunate. Considering that Canada has similarities economically to these nations, it leaves one to wonder if socialism will become a dirty word in Canada. If not, why haven't we seen each of the Canadian population see a piece of the pie? How can we create a demand for another revolutionary Woodstock? Through our constitutional freedom of assembly we may see a hundred people converge, in a town like Sudbury Ontario Canada. That figure may be 10,000 people in Toronto occupying today. But tomorrow that figure becomes 100,000. Let`s occupy and create more camps. Tell more people. Are Jewish people allowed to congregate and self-govern within the State of Israel?

What exactly is a Zionist?
Why aren't Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Egypt and other Arab Nations allowing Palestinians to migrate to their Nations under refugee status? Considering that Palestine extended to the aforementioned Nations centuries ago it leaves one to wonder, is Hitler's' S.S still in existence?
How do we stop the brainwashing in many gentrified Muslim Nations?

Internal vs External Thought Process Part 2 - by Moses

In the 1950's airwaves hit the mainstream without headphones being involved. Most people of that time played AM radio to listen to their favourite music, and this music was received by a number of people that were around the source. We lived in North America without the pretension of actually knowing something contrary to ones' belief structure, and we made sense of the music together.
In the late seventies and early 80's we saw the advent of 'the Walkman' and many people wore headphones as a convenience, essentially letting the music fight their thoughts. Fighting ones' thoughts outside ones' reality is paramount to conflict.
Today, in most North American Cities people wear headphones, or hearing aids, with uncommon frequency. For those that wear headphones, it almost looks as if they're paranoid schizophrenic's walking around yelling at themselves. Rather these people are communicating on the phone or listening to music. The communication device is now defining what you will think, or makes thought an ambiguity. The quantification of thought will always be undefined, to a musician this is known as pitch bend. This is why Bob Marley wrote 'Have No Fear For Atomic Energy For None Of Them Can Stop-A-The Time.'
We now live in an age where we can communicate to any part of the World from anywhere in the World. This is a technological conundrum. Where do we go from here? Satellite telecommunications are now common place. It is now possible to use technological devices as software devices to interface to other technological devices. With this transference between Hub to Hub, Satellite to Satellite, Hub to Satellite, or Satellite to Hub begs the question; What about software viruses?
In 1980, when Apple, IBM, and Commodore came out the hardware couldn't be corrupted by software as the software had to be approved to be sold on the Market. A modem (as seen in the movie 'War Games') could corrupt a mainframe, and hence we saw the danger of hackers. Today, when a person is on their Satellite phone conversing with someone in Indonesia (looking like a paranoid schizophrenic I might add) their phone will always be one push of a button away from being rendered useless. A premise that seemingly has become oblivious in the mainstream.

Solar Flares

A satellite in space that monitors human activity through a tracking practice can be destroyed by a Nations' airspace at any time. At this point, any and all homosapiens activity disappears from existence of any and all Governing bodies of any Nation (unless their is a second Satellite) - 'Enemy of the State'
In the former U.S.S.R this is paramount to destroying the activity of a Czar and his people. Similar to Jewish settlements being extradited (having their 'Satellite' removed from existence) there were several cases of Russian Jews being given lifelong imprisonment. Louis Theremin was one such person. Theremin invented an electronic musical device and was hidden from his own family, in the name of science. His existence was negated by the U.S.S.R when he was 16 years of age. This is an example of the cause and effect of a monitor appearing, or disappearing from all Governing bodies. A Solar Flare, in severity, is a natural destruction of of all such monitors (or Satellites). This, to many, is considered to be the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, also considered 'Armageddon'. A Judaic Death-star. Sometimes a moment of thought helps to clarify matters, this is something technology can't do for us. By the way, on your way to work today did you listen to the music through headphones?

2010 Camp David Agreement - Moses

In 1977, Israeli Prime Minister Menachim Begin, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, and U.S President Jimmy Carter signed the Camp David Agreement.
It is now 2010, and there is speculation that a similar agreement will be reached, between Israel and Palestine. Benjamin Netanyahu (the Israeli Prime Minister) is set to sign a Peace Treaty with Palestinian Authority President Abbas, alongside U.S President Barack O'Bama. This agreement has code name 2010 Camp David, whereby there will be 100 Kibbutziim situated in the Negev (a Province within the Land of Canaan). In each Kibbutz there will be 501 people; 167 Israeli Jews, 167 Israeli Arabs, 167 Palestinians. Though the first five years of this Treaty, the aim is to promote multi-culturalism within the Land of Canaan. After five years there is anticipation of multi-culturalism within the entire Land of Canaan.

Traditonally, Kashmir is sacred to India, Pakistan, and the Peoples' Republic of China. The Buddhist Mauryan, Emperor Ahoka, is often credited with founding the old capital of Kashmir, Shrinagari. Since the late 4rth Century of the first millenium. There have been land claims made dependant on the ruling powers within since this time. Originally Kashmir was a Buddhist region, a new religion at that time. In the time of the Mahabharata, the Kambojas ruled this region of the World (6th Century), at the time strictly the land of the Great Himalayas and the Pir Punjal mountain range. It is a Holy Land to Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist faiths and today sees the armies of India and Pakistan on its' borders on previously mentioned land claims. It was Abhinavagupta (950AD-1020AD) one of India's great philosophers, mystics, aestheticians, who was a tremendous influence in Indian Culture to date.
There were Rulers of Kashmiri that were tolerant of all faiths. Sultan Zain ul Abidin (1423-1424), known as Baadshah (the King), is one such leader. Another such leader was Akbar, who in 1588 overthrew Kashmir and translated the 'Rajatarangini' to Persian. This Book is known as the metrical chronical of the Kings of Kashmir.
The 'Rajataranjini' is the first of a series of four histories of Kashmir. It was written by Kalhana in the middle of the 12th Century. Kalhana's work, in six books, makes use of earlier works that are now lost.
Many of the Muslim rulers were intolerant of the other faiths however, Sultan Sikander Butshikan (1389-1413) for example emigrated all of the Hindu faith during his rule. Many of the Brahmin at that time poisened themselves as they refused to give up their religion or leave their land. At the point of destroying all the temples in Kashmir, Sikander was known as 'Destroyer of Idols'.

Today we see the armies of India and Pakistan lined up on their borders on land claims still being made on this land. It is paramount that a Treaty be signed as all three Nations; India, Pakistan, and the Peoples' Republic of China have sophisticated technology that could theoretically be used in terror attacks towards each-other. In 1977 Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, Israeli Prime Minister Manachim Begin, and U.S President Jimmy Carter signed the Camp David Agreement (essentially making the Sinai a neutral land to both Egypt and Israel). What is needed today is very similar to this prior agreement. A peace agreement between Pakistan, India, and the Peoples' Republic of China must be in place, and tolerance of each faith within this region is absolutly necessary. Otherwise Western media cannot insure that Terror outside this region will not occur.

De-regulation of Telecommunications by the Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission - Report submitted by Moses

The C.R.T.C de-regulated the telecommunications industry under Jean Chretien in approxiamately 1998. This decision was made (among a few reasons) mainly to allow communication between Homelands more accessible (as most Canadians are English-Canadian, French-Canadian, Italian-Canadian...). For example, you live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, North America and you want to be in touch with your friend in Copenhagen, Denmark, Europe. We should not be stripped of our innate ability to communicate with a friend, or family member in another Country and Continent. It is for this reason that Canadians can buy long distance phone cards for such a low price today, relative to before this decision being made. It is also the reason that one computer tied to the internet can communicate with another computer tied into the internet in another part of the world for free.
The name of the software company that facilitated this change was Sonic Solutions (now a Sony Product). The premise is that the software itself is tied into Hardware components, and interfaced with user-software carrying enough broadband capability to facilitate practically any shortwave. Essentially Star Trek technology had already been instituted in most North American homes since 1942 - the year WW11 ended in Normandy, France. It's known today as individual ground hubs, independant from home to home (in lamen terms - the outlets in the walls). This is why we saw so many conventional inventions and appliances shortly after WW11. In todays' age we see conventional inventions such as Electronic Control Units, the internet (intranets) - hubs, search engines. These modern inventions of the last twenty years allow access with respect to communication and privacy issues of communication of one family member/or friend with another family member/or friend in another Country and Continent.
This telecommunications issue had been addressed by the G.A.T.T as early as 1914, when Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier rejected a Free-Trade agreement with the U.S.A, due to British and French fears of the U.S.A taking over Canada without a regulated Telecommunications Industry. This is one of the reasons Bell Canada stayed unified for as long as they did (under the umbrella of STENTOR).
Ask yourself this; Should a man that is Japanese-Canadian communicate by the internet with a family member in Japan be considered a risk to National security, as he was in 1942?

The Story of Eli Cohen

Eli Cohen was an Egyptian born Jew. He lived near Cairo during peaceful times in the early 1950’s. Towards the end of the 50’s, the Egyptian Government turned on their Jewish citizens. Some were able to flee to Israel but most were imprisoned. Eli Cohen was one of the Heads of the Underground Movement freeing Jewish prisoners until he himself was imprisoned.
He escaped from Egypt in 1961 and made way to Bat Yam, Israel. When Eli started his new life in Israel he went to the Israeli Intelligence community, Mossad, and asked to be taken in, only to be refused. (In those days Mossad strictly recruited their agents).
It took three years and finally the Mossad recruited Cohen for duty and he accepted. This was 1964 and there was much turbulence between Israel and most Countries in the region (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, and Egypt).
The Mossad assessed Eli and found that his knowledge of the Arabic language (Aramaic) was excellent. They determined that he could not go back to Egypt and work in any covert missions there, as he was a known quantity. They decided that his accent was well suited to the Syrian Dialect of Arabic.
The Bait Shin placed Cohen in Western Europe for training, and to harness his language skills. He was then sent to Argentina, to a large Syrian Community and given instructions to make his name as a lost brother.
Eli Cohen made many friends in the Syrian Community in Argentina. Amongst them were the 1st cousin of the Minister of Defense, and the son of the Minister of Interior.
By 1965, Eli Cohen was sent back to Western Europe to be relocated, this time to Damascus, Syria.
During this time the Israeli Defense Minister, Yizchak Rabin, was in high alert as there were constant problems with their neighboring Countries.
Eli Cohen was considered Israeli’s highest ranking covert operation in Syria.
Cohen would have regular weekly parties with High Ranking officials and would serve his guests’ fine wine. He learned much about Syria’s military affairs, which he would transmit back to the Bait Shin nightly. Then, one day in early 1966, Cohen was invited to a military post in the Golan Heights (a part of Syria at that time).
The Minister of Syria’s Defense told him that Syria was about ready to go to war with Israel. Eli explained to the Syrian Intelligence Community this: Should troops be brought in to fight a war with Israel why not plant trees there to shade the troops. He radioed back to Jerusalem that night, of the news that trees would soon be in the Golan Heights (the highest point overlooking Israel), and that it would be followed by Syrian’s Army moving in preparing for an attack on Israel.
When Rabin saw that trees were being planted in the Golan, he paid close attention to Syria’s
military movement. In 1967, Syrian soldiers started arriving to the Golan and the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) Air Force bombed the Golan to threads and populated that region.
When Egypt realized that the Syrian Army was defeated and sent back to Damascus, they panicked. They sent all their aircraft (fighters) towards Israel. The Bait Shin sent only 1/3rd of their fighters. As the Egyptian fighters went back to refuel, the Israeli fighters that had remained on the ground went up and bombed the sitting ducks.
With the two largest Arab Forces defeated, the Israeli Military took only six days in defeating all six aforementioned Countries.
