Israel and the War on Terrorism - by Moses (a.k.a Stacey Marc Goldman)

  It is now 2023 and we're still having conversations as to whom Israel belongs to, funny enough but this is 1948 again for Christ's sake and the proliferation of the State of Israel has been accepted?  Every time this issue comes up there are terrorist factions that are in place to justify the Zionist viewpoints that were put to rest in 1948 by way of War.  The resulting aftermath of the October 7th massacre in Israel (1400 victims) and the 250 Hostages that were taken are reminders of why Israel had to fight for the land in 1948.  This attack was by far the largest terrorist attack Israel has suffered since the 1973 War of Yom Kippur and ironically the Chammas chose Simcha Torah this time to attack us (when we believed to be secure in our Homeland).

  For those following the news coverage it should be noted that the IDF has the retrieval of the Hostages as their first aim, but make no mistake this war will not end at the end retrieving all the Hostages.  Netanyahu is gung ho in killing off terrorist factions like the Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and Chammas and has full support of the U.S military (not that it's needed).  The problem with this crisis is that there is mis-education in the story of our peoples.  As a Jew I know that I'm a descendant of Israel.  I am aware that every Jew and Arab has common lineage to Shem (Noah's oldest son).  This is why a Jew and an Arab both say Baruch Hashem.  The Palestinian people are descendants of Ham (Noah's youngest son).  The Palestinian people are not Arab and the majority of Palestinians Worldwide are Muslim.  Palestinians are descendants of Ham, Misraim -a.k.a Egypt) and Casluhiim (the father of the Phillistine People).  I have no problem with a Palestinian never had one in my life.  In fact I used to work with a Construction crew with a couple of Palestinian Tilers when I worked in Israel and knew a couple of Palestinian Canadians through my years in the workforce and never had a problem.  What people need to see is how Terrorism has affected these course of actions.  If Netanyahu deports Palestinians to Egypt they have enough of a bloodline to take them in, it is not Israel's responsibility.  The Israeli's could probably take over the Sinai like we did in 1967 again in battle.  As sad as this summarization sounds it's probably for the best as this War isn't really against the Palestinian people but against the Terrorist acts of Chammas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad.

  In the 1950's 'the underground' came into play and we saw Jewish prisoners make their way to Israel.  Without this underground Egypt could have swallowed their Jewish population as a whole.  Palestinian people looking to resettle will probably have to move to Egypt when all is said and done as Netanyahu won't be having a peace process for a long time.  What all this really comes down to is land claims.  The same thing really if I'm Camaroon Canadian I would have a land claim in my name in Camaroon.  This is the same deal for Schlomo to live in his homeland of Israel.  Being Moses I feel a strong duty to speak up for Jewish rights and sidestep the mis-education of the whole story.  What I'll never understand is how we've confused the same scriptures and perpetuated the same lies in lineage as has been the case over the past 5778 years. For Christ's sake this should be common knowledge by now.

  By this baseball insider's account the Jays will have to win at least 20 of their remaining 30 games to squeak into this years playoffs as a wild card team.  A probable summarization considering they have the weakest sets of opponents compared to their competitors' schedules.  I predict that the Jays will win 92+ games this year to claim the second wild card spot (93-69).

My starting 4-man starting rotation for the playoffs is as follows;

1.  Kevin Gausman (RHP)

2.  Hyun Jin Ryu (LHP)

3.  Jose Berrios (RHP)

4.  Yusei Kikuchi (LHP)

  With this rotation we'll have two righty starters and two lefty starters and two capable replacement starters in Chris Bassitt (RHP) and Bowden Francis (RHP).  Ironically the pitcher with the most wins in the starting staff (Bassitt) is left out of the 4-man going into the playoffs to accommodate Hyun Jin Ryu's successful return from the injured reserve after Tommy John's surgery.  Bassitt is a solid starter and could be a starter used in the division series (if one starter falters miserably on assignment in the wild card series), if we make it that far.  The truth of the matter is that the Blue Jays are five deep in their rotation (and that doesn't even include Alek Manoah as a zero possibility for the rest of this year).  Berrios, Bassitt, and Kikuchi were each excellent all year.  Perhaps Berrios will work his way into the equation as the number two man in the rotation alongside Hyun Jin Ryu and Chris Bassitt.  As of now Kevin Gausman is the ace of the staff and has a distant chance of winning this year's CY Young Award and the contrast from game one with Gausman and Ryu for game two (is intriguing at the least) and takes us to the comparison between Gausman and Mike Scott from years' past (as they both had/have awesome splitters).  Berrios in the next start with Kikuchi to follow shapes up a rotation that boasts two lefties and two righties and depth if one of the starters doesn't have his A-stuff that day in Bassitt and Francis.

Here is my feeling for the 2023 Awards at the conclusion of the season;

American League MVP - Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Angels)

National League MVP - Ronald Acuna Jr. (Atlanta Braves)

American League CY Young - Gerrit Cole (New York Yankees)

National League CY Young - Justin Steele (Chicago Cubs)

American League Rookie of the Year - Tanner Bibee (Cleveland Guardians)

National League Rookie of the Year - Gabriel Moreno (Arizona Diamondbacks)

Obvious Gold Glove Award Winners For the 2023 Campaign;

Catcher - Gabriel Moreno (Arizona Diamondbacks)

3rd Base - Matt Chapman (Toronto Blue Jays)

The Nashville Mass Shooting - by Moses

      As we saw yesterday, another mass shooting, this time three kids and three adults in Nashville Tennessee.  This is 29 mass shootings in the last two years and looks to be the trend for the near future as the incidence has gone up enormously post COVID.  To this I ask a simple question;  When did an amendment to the right to bear arms ever pose a threat to Americans?  In Canada, we pride ourselves in security.  We have strict gun laws that include psychiatric questions to insure that people with mental health issues don't have the right to a firearm.  When someone in Canada buys a gun, they are REQUIRED to register their firearm.  What may seem to be simple procedures saves lives.  It is a hard issue to come to terms with, but while in 1776 a few shotguns and hunting rifles could be used to withstand an enemy element within their government, please be mindful that it is now 2023 and the fundamental right to overthrow the U.S government is non-existent.  The U.S military would never be able to be overthrown anyway (unless nukes were entered into the equation).

  What troubles this writer is that with the vested interests of the N.R.A there will always be lobbyists for assault weapons and weapons that can't be justified by Canadian standards.  This is an ongoing dilemma as long as assault weapons and sub-machine guns are made available to the U.S population.  The sickening thing is that occurrences in incidence like we've seen in the U.S over the last two years has essentially reached its' boiling point, and the reality is that every inner city in the U.S (aside from maybe the state of Texas) is susceptible to having guns on the street by illegal trade.  These are issues that can't be here in Canada.

  Isn't it strange but this is not the first time a transgender person has committed a mass shooting and that they passed the salesclerk test once again, this time resulting in six dead.  Why hasn't the U.S adopted screening to those that want to possess a firearm.  Why can't there be a fifty question prerequisite, and the passing of someone in a psychiatric sense to nullify people with severe mental health issues from owning firearms?

Article Seven in the Chammas Constitution - by Moses

      As it has been reported from years' past, the Chammas constitution carries Article Seven;  and the Jew shall be hunted and hide behind asterick trees and killed.  This is an except from their Article Seven in their constitution.  This is primarily the reason of a delay towards a two state solution.  What disturbs me is that when I contacted a connected member of the Bait Knesset in Israel, they proclaimed ignorance to Article Seven, leaving me nowhere to go but to disown them as being a reliable source.  This is misinformation that could come back to haunt.  The reality is that to proclaim tracking laws for one people in the legal sense is essentially a murder charge if you're Palestinian and legalizing tracking of the people that are the supposed enemy.  Where do you draw line.  Always seemed to me that what's good for the goose is good for the gander.  This hypocrite oath being taken by Israel in these contexts' are a gross social injustice.

Reparations in America - by Moses

       As surely as Germany paid reparations to Jewish holocaust survivors and their families, America will pay reparations to African-Americans.  It would stand to reason that 20.7% per capita would suffice to pay African-Americans (Through Banking, Team Ownership Positions, University Funding, and NAACP interests).  The reality is that even though African-Americans are as competitive as other peoples' they have a much higher incidence of poverty in the U.S.A.  Roughly half of all African-Americans consider themselves low-income (under $20,000/year for individuals and under $50,000/year for families).

      So it was on the news today hereby Ukraine President Zelensky requesting F-16 fighter planes from the U.S.  Biden has audacity when he gives his restrictions by saying no to a Nation that is under seige from a corrupt war led by Vladimir Putin and American interests that include capitalizing on the war (essentially prolonging this war for as long as their military's allow).  What we're looking at is the next Iran/Iraq scandal which is sure to come with the American involvement to date.  Check the receipts and you plainly see a strong U.S Dollar as a result of the surplus of arms being shipped out from America to the Ukraine.  Of course America is concerned that their foreign interests in Europe are being protected by the EU and the United Nations, and at this point the head of the EU is worried for the stability of the continent but that's the last thing America has to deal with the longer this war goes on.  It's a sick practice really, population control at its' best.  To the wise the poetic injustice of a war of the people in that region of the world dictates their diminishing rights as a people or peoples.  Wasn't it Nicci who once said 'who shall slay?' in Machiavalan principles in the study of the anti-christ, and isn't it the act of a Godless leader in Putin who treats his people like they are infected yeast.  At this point a year into the war we have seen about 100,000 casualties and you know what, the average American doesn't really give a fuck about this war of the ages.  The disgusting thing is that America would be crying the blues like there is no tomorrow if Belgium shuts down the American foreign affairs office in their Nation if they feel that America is contributing to the problems of the EU.  But sensibility was never Kennedy's strong suit.  (Wasn't he the President that sent troops into Vietnam - conveniently remembered as Nixon's war?).

The Ryan O'Reilly Trade - by Moses

      The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired forwards Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari in a three-team trade, the club announced Friday night.  Toronto sent forwards Mikhail Abramov and Adam Gaudette along with a 2023 first-round draft pick, Ottawa's 2023 third-round selection and the Leafs' 2024 second-round choice to St. Louis.  Minnesota, meanwhile, receives Toronto's 2025 fourth-round selection. The Blues will retain 50 per cent of O'Reilly's salary, while the Wild will take on 25 per cent as part of the trade.  Toronto also receives forward Josh Pillar from the Wild as part of the deal.

The Phoenix Suns Trade - by Moses

 From Phoenix;  Mikal Bridges (SF - age 26), Jae Crowder (SF/PF - age 32), Cam Johnson (SF - age 27), four 1st Round Draft Picks and additional draft compensation to the Brooklyn Nets for Kevin Durant (PF - age 34) and T.J. Warren (SF/PF - age 29).

      This is the deal that shook the Basketball World at the trade deadline this year.  Durant is having his usual 29 PTS/G season in a superlative 16 year career to date.  He probably has another three strong years in his 34 year old body at the level he's at (Prime-time).  Warren is definitely under-rated as he was only getting about 20 Minutes/Game in Brooklyn and he was a former Sun who was getting 31.6 Minutes/Game as recent as 2018/19 with Phoenix and was averaging 18 PTS/G (over a number of years with the Suns).  The Brooklyn Nets may not be the playoff threat of going deep into the playoffs now with the trading of Durant and Kyrie Irving (traded yesterday) but look stoked to benefit immensely should they receive a 2024 1st Round Draft Pick as Mikal Bridges could be inserted into the Nets lineup and two 2024 1st Round picks  (with one this season) will in all likelihood bring in one or two superstars to the Nets for their 2024/25 team.  A day after the Kyrie Irving deal' makes this one almost imperative as the psychology in New York was go big or go home.  They will have a surplus of Draft Picks for the near future; including eleven First Round Picks to draw from over the next six years and at least eight 2nd Round Draft picks over the same time.

  As a result of the deal here is what the Phoenix Suns look like on paper;

Center

1.  Deandre Ayton (age 26)

2.  Bismack Biyombo (age 30)

3.  Jock Landale (age 27)

4.  Dario Saric (age 29)

Power Forward

1.  Kevin Durant (age 34)

2.  Cameron Johnson (age 27)

3.  T.J. Warren (age 29)

4.  Dario Saric (age 29)

Small Forward

1.  T.J. Warren (age 29)

2.  Torrey Craig (age 32)

3.  Cameron Johnson (age 27)

4.  Ish Wainright  (age 29)

Point Guard

1.  Chris Paul (age 38)

2.  Cameron Payne (age 28)

3.  Saben Lee (age 24)

4.  Landry Shamet (age 26)

Shooting Guard

1.  Devin Booker (age 27)

2.  Cameron Payne (age 28)

3.  Saben Lee (age 24)

4.  Landry Shamet (age 26)

      As a result of the Brooklyn Nets trading away their two superstars this years' team probably won't be a  threat to do anything significant in the playoffs over the next two years but look to be a playoff force to be reckoned with in about four years.

  As for the acquisition of Kevin Durant and what that means to the Suns hopes of winning the NBA Championship over the next three years goes up immensely with the performance AND experience of Kevin Durant and Chris Paul.  Personally, to the educated basketball fan, it looks like the Phoenix Suns are the favorites to win the Championship after this years' trade deadline.
