The Anti-Semite - by Moses

It's very simple really.  There are those that hate any descendant of Shem for their distinct features of being Semitic.  The reality is that Semitic people can't be stereotyped by colour of skin.  Yes, there are Sephardiim, Sephardic, and Ashkanazi communities all within Jewish communities across the World that showcase distinctly different physical characteristics.  What we're really dealing with is diaspora in this context as someone naturalized in Russia (Ashkanazi Jewry) is more apt to be white, likewise that of someone Sephardic being darker in skin complexion based on their diaspora from Ethiopia to Morocco.  What needs to be explained is that the Jewish faith is a guideline, a barometer some would say, towards standards.

In Europe today there are many that give ethnic slights towards Jewish people.  Then comes the American stereotypes of Jewish people.  'Jewish people control the media.' 'Jewish people control the banks.' 'Go back to Auschwitz'. 'Hitler didn't do his job right.'  I've personally heard all four of these slights in abundance.  Now the trend is to stereotype Ashkanazi Jewry as Nazi's, to generalize the State of Israel as a breeding ground for what many in Europe call a new Nazi Regime.

What does that do to the psyche of our children?  Do we educate an anti-semite when we know that you can't really reform an anti-semite's views?  Do we fight back when we know that the persons' hatred of you could lead to violence towards you and your family?  When Dr. Martin Luther King spoke up he was heard by the masses.  He ended up dying a martyr for his cause.  Should we really risk our lives when it's our innate right to life?
