Andre Degrass - by Moses
In the 2016 Summer Olympics Andre Degrass proved himself to be a vicious warrior, winning a Silver in the 100 Metre Dash and a Bronze in the 200 Metre Dash.
To an American this is ultimate failure. To have tried to accomplish, to succeed, to win, and actually lose by winning a Silver Medal and a Bronze Medal.
As a Canadian I'm abhored. This is accomplishment. To WIN a Silver Medal to WIN a bronze Medal. If you are lucky enough to win a Gold Medal then the entire Nation of Canada celebrates.
Usain Bolt (Jamaica) set the Modern Day standard running a time of 9.57 seconds.
In 1924, when Harold Abrahams (Great Britain) set the standard at 10.6 seconds, were people as efficient?
Going into the 2020 Summer Olympic Games my bet is on Andre Degrass to take home the Gold in both the 100 Metre and 200 Metre. His biggest nemesis going into the 100 Metre is Justin Gatlin and Johan Blake. "My bet is Degrass winning the 100 Metre in 9.53 seconds and beating out Johan Blake in the 200 Metre with a time of 19.40 seconds." said Moses.
